Coming Back to Denver! « Thread Started on Oct 13, 2004, 10:38pm »
Hello to all!
It may have been a while since I've been in touch with some of you. For that, I'm sorry! Life in LA has been wild, to say the least. Essentially, I've been driving myself mad working crazy hours and have been terribly busy.
Recently, someone very close to me was diagnosed with a neurological disorder in her brain. I am so pleased to let you know that she got through her surgery with flying colors, and is on her way to a speedy recovery. My prayers have been answered that she will be OK! This event has brought me to a crossroads in my life. I've done some serious soul searching and have realized that working like a mad woman while being away from my family and true friends is more than I can stand. Sometimes, life throws a curveball and makes you realize what you have, what you want, and where you need to be.
I've decided that I no longer want to make a "living," I want to make a "life!" Being near the people who mean the most to me, spending time with them, and nurturing these wonderful relationships that I left are what "life" is! Therefore, there is no doubt that I am going to be returning to Denver as soon as possible...by the end of October to be exact!
There are a lot of details to be worked out, but the one thing I know is that life will be good! Hey...I guess I had to move far away only to realize how much I miss being in Denver!
I'm hoping that I will be able to spend some time with each and every one of you very soon!

Hello from John B. in Pennsylvania:
One day I was searching for before and after fitness photos to inspire me. Having gotten into shape, losing 35 lbs and learning to love working out, but starting a new corporate job, I knew that day I needed a reminder why I should avoid the office cookies and continue the gymn visits!
Just wanted to say that your before and after photos were just amazing and worked their magic on me, and I am still doing well as a time-pressed 40-ish corporate guy in maybe the best shape of almost anyone at my corporation.
Also wondering whether you were aiming for movie roles or other roles in fitness, etc.?
Thanks, John member of Melissa Nutt fan club (or would be if there is one?! Never joined a fan club before..)lol!

John
Thanks so much for posting. Not sure if you will read this with my delayed response.
We are currently working towards a system to update this message board on a regular basis. I am so busy with my nutrition, training business and gym that I have little time to visit here.
It's always great to know that BODYStatement.com has inspired someone. Yes, Melissa is awesome!
